Migration Tanzania Experience

DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NP

In the morning after breakfast (around 7:30 AM) your safari guide will arrive at the hotel. After meeting up, you will have a short safari briefing and drive to Tarangire National Park, and by 10:00 AM you will already be on your first safari!

In this park you have the chance to see lots of wild Tanzanian animals (lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, etc.), but above all else it is famous for its astonishing number of elephants, who typically tend to stay close to their drinking source, the Tarangire River.

You should be aware that this is wild nature, so the guide cannot make any guarantees on the presence of specific wild animals, but you can be sure he will do his best to find everything you’re looking for! The Landside Adventure Company has its own radio channel that the drivers use to communicate to other guides and collaborate on searches for rare species.

At lunchtime you will be provided a meal, after which the safari will continue. In the evening you will be transferred to the Lodge for dinner & overnight.

DAY 2: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today after early breakfast we do leave the central Serengeti heading to the Northern Serengeti for Wildebeest exploring crossing the Mara river. We do the game drive en route and arrive in Mara river for lunch pack where we will wait and exploring the wildebeest crossing the river. The wildebeest are not predicted what time they start to cross the river heading to Kenya. Your guide will use radio call contact with other guides regard the updates when they start to cross. You will continue with the game drives along the Mara river until the heads start to cross the river. Later head to your selected accommodation  for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today after breakfast we do depart to mara river for game drives and wildebeest exploring when crossing the river, you will continue to do the game drives around mara river. Today we have another chance to see the Wildebeest crossing the river heading to masai mara in Kenya. Later after game drives drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: ANOTHER DAY AT SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (FULL DAY)

After breakfast we do depart to mara river for game drives and wildebeest exploring when crossing the river, you will continue to do the game drives around mara river and. Today we have another chance to see the Wildebeest crossing the river heading to masai mara in Kenya. Later after game drives drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: SERENGETI NP – NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast depart to Ngorongoro conservation area slowly proceed with game drive enroute to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You have optional passing by the Olduvai Gorge or Masai boma learning a bit about Masai culture, later continue to  your selected accommodation  for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA

In this day it is best to depart to the Crater as early as possible so you can see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours.

Ngorongoro is one of the most famous and interesting of Tanzania’s national parks because here you can find the greatest number of different animal species per square kilometer. You will have the chance to see buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippopotamus and feline species such as caracals and serval cat. The luckiest travelers might even see a rhinoceros, an animal whose numbers are rapidly declining.

By lunchtime you will arrive at the lakeside, where you will be offered lunchboxes, after which the safari will continue, ending in a few hours, late afternoon return to Arusha then transfer to the airport for your flight back home or dinner & overnight. ( Accommodation in Arusha can be arranged on request)
