DAY 02: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Morning, you will be picked up at your hotel with a picnic lunch and driven driving towards Tarangire National Park. Lunch will be served at the picnic point.

We set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. As we go along the way, we pass many Maa their colorful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant herds, is also host to a multitude of other creatures. From the open roof of our state-of-the-art safari jeep, we experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River, endeavoring to encounter a multitude of creatures, from zebra to wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few. It is possible we will glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards watching, relaxing in the trees above.

DAY 03: HIGH VIEW COFFEE LODGE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive in Serengeti to see nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning sunrise. DAY 04: CENTRAL SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE)

After breakfast the driver guide will drive to northern Serengeti closer to the mara river where the greatest event of migration taking place you will enjoy game viewing in Serengeti, exploring this fantastic game, depending on the time of your visit, will witness the Great Migration of nearly a million wildebeest and zebras as they move.

One of the most sought-after experiences for wildlife and nature enthusiasts, the Great Migration is the ever-moving circular migration of over a million animals across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. The constant movement of columns of wildebeest, joined by a host of companions, follow an age-old route in search of grazing and water. After calving in the southern part of Tanzania’s Serengeti near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the animal journey through the Serengeti up and around in a clockwise direction towards the Masai Mara in Kenya, before returning once again near the end of the year. DAY 05: NORTHERN SERENGETI (MARA RIVER CROSSING) FULL-DAY GAME DRIVES

After breakfast the driver guides you drive to the event catching the millions of wildebeests crossing catch the actions of the crocodile hunting them while predators rely on a guide knowledge of the movement of the heard can give you a better chance of seeing the river crossing when you are a there as well

The river is exceptionally for its longevity and vastness and has many possible crossing points, so the guide will take you to all the points until you find your perfect view for them, with your packed lunch you spend the whole day spotting them

DAY 06: FULL DAY GAME (KOGATENDE MARA RIVER CROSSING)

After breakfast depart the crossing point for continuing game drives alongside the river to catch the perfect view of the crossing while predators’ hunts in style like crocodiles and lions and other big cats waiting on the other side to pickoff the weaker of the herd

There is a muddy riverbed to navigate until the one brave wildebeest takes their first step or jump into the river causing the cascading movement of the whole one following the other simultaneous effects

DAY 09: NORTHERN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, you will drive from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater.
When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago.
The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
After a full afternoon inside the crater, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay

You will be picked up from your accommodation and be driven straight to the airport which marks the end of your epic adventure.

DAY 10: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR TO LAKE MANYARA

Today you embark on an unforgettable safari into the Crater. Ngorongoro is one of the most picturesque settings for observing wildlife. With around 30,000 resident animals, the game viewing is excellent all year round and the photographic opportunities are unrivaled! Encounters with animals are frequent in this Garden of Eden, and there is a wide variety to see. Lake Magadi, the soda lake on the floor of the Crater, is home to thousands of Flamingos. This is also one of the best places to see the endangered Black Rhino.

DAY 11: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA

After breakfast, we drive to our final destination on this epic safari – Lake Manyara National Park. This, a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha, is so named for the shallow Salt Lake that covers some seventy percent of the surface area, flooding and drying with the seasons and home to thousands of flamingos and in the extraordinary region of 500 other bird species. On our exploration of the park, we will see monkeys, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephants, and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The Park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. After lunch, we head back to Arusha where we will arrive in the late afternoon, our adventure at its inevitable end, with all the sights and sounds of wild East Africa tucked away in our minds for our adventure in life’s journey.

SAFARIS Somos un grupo de 3 amigos que después de mucho leer y negociar con distintas agencias decidimos contratar Kwelia adventure para realizar los 4 días de Safaris por Tanzania. La experiencia ha resultado inolvidable, ha superado con crece nuestras expectativas. Está todo bastante bien organizado, partiendo de que estamos en Africa y aquí casi todo se decide sobre la marcha (POLE, POLE). La comida muy buena. Los campamentos bastante bien, dormir en medio del Serenguetti no tiene precio. Algunos animales se acercan por la noche a las tiendas y eso es inigualable. Walter, nuestro guía, habla español y nos hizo que todo fuera magnífico. Muy responsable con horarios, y nos cuidò en todo momento. Conocimos a otros grupos que no tuvieron la misma suerte, y tuvieron que esperar largo tiempo continuamente en cada trámite. Gracias a él, pudimos ver los BIG FIVE! Leon, elefante, bufalo, leopardo y rinoceronte. Recomiendo completamente la experiencia y a Walter de guía.

Safari 5 días: Taranguire, Serenget, Ngorongoro En agosto realicé junto con mi familia un safari de 5 días visitando Taranguire, Serengueti y Ngorongoro. Hice la reserva por internet y la comunicación con el responsable de la empresa, Beka (habla español), fue muy fácil y fluida, respondió a todos mis emails con extraordinaria rapidez resolviendo todas mis dudas. Vimos gran cantidad de animales y estuvimos muy a gusto tanto con nuestro guía (hablaba español) como con nuestro cocinero. La comida buena y muy abundante incluso al mediodía, que era picnic, teníamos comida cocinada y caliente lo que nos sorprendió muy gratamente pues contábamos con bocadillos. Respecto al material de acampada (tiendas, colchonetas etc) resultó estar en un estado un poco precario pero aceptable teniendo en cuenta que no se trata de un safari de lujo. Lo que no resultó aceptable y por eso le pongo 4 estrellas, fueron los sacos de dormir que estaban extremadamente sucios, afortunadamente llevábamos sábanas saco para meter dentro y evitar el contacto. Os recomiendo que llevéis vuestros propios sacos o, en su defecto, sábanas saco y ropa de abrigo, en agosto hace frío especialmente por las noches y en Ngorongoro hace mucho frío.

Safari de 6 días Contratamos el Safari desde España contactando por email con Beka y desde el primer momento la comunicación fue muy buena. Hicimos 6 días y 5 noches de Safari en Manyara, Taranguire, Serengeti y Ngorongoro. El guía que nos acompañó los 6 días, Masai, de habla hispana nos trató muy bien y nos explicó todo lo necesario siempre que se requería. El cocinero, Mr Bean, también de 10, menús de muy buena calidad y cantidad. Recomendación de llevar saco propio para dormir en los campings, y ropa abrigada, de noche refresca bastante.

Safari y tribus 6 días 5 noches Contratamos un Safari con Beka que fue super amable en todo momento. Responde muy rápido e intenta ayudarte siempre. Desde el primer momento nos ofreció un precio muy razonable (diferencia de otras empresas de mínimo 700$). Nos incluyó agua en todo momento y el traslado al aeropuerto y vuelta. El safari lo hicimos con Wilson de guía y Alfred de cocinero! Ambos son super amables y se esfuerzan continuamente por que te sientas feliz! Wilson es muy muy bueno! Habla un español correcto y se esfuerza por seguir aprendiendo! Hizo todo lo posible porque viéramos los 5 grandes y todo el resto de animales!! Además no tuvimos que montar ni desmontar las tiendas!! Siempre estaba disponible para cualquier necesidad que tuviéramos! Alfred cocina muy bien, sobretodo las pizzas! Empresa 100% recomendable, pide lo que necesites que Beka te va a ayudar. RECOMENDACIONES: si vas a dormir en tents lleva tu propia toalla, tus sacos de dormir, tapones y anti mosquitos! Panorama View y Kizumba son sitios muy muy recomendables para dormir si haceis Tarangire o Manyara Lake. Recomendamos muchísimos visitar las tribus de Maasai y Eyasi Lake. Para las de Eyasi hay que estar en buena forma física porque te llevan a cazar por mitad del campo. Nos ha encantado visitar sus poblados y “entender” un poquito su forma de vida. Unforgettable experience! We had a wonderful safari with Kweli adventure. Beka, the owner, was always available (and very patient) to answer our questions. The driver, Naiman, made everything possible to show us as many animals as possible . He was very kind, patient, punctual and showed a big love and respect for the animals. The cook, Gideon, made the best food ever! He really is an amazing cook!! And apart from that, he is funny and and has a big heart. We danced so much with him and my sister! Thank you Kweli for this experience! We will come back!

Experiencia Increíble gracias a Alex Guideon y Beka Hicimos tres personas el safari con Kweli adventure y la verdad, al principio teníamos un poco de dudas pero fue todo sobre ruedas. Beka respondía muy rápido a los emails y ha estado atento a cualquier duda. Cuando llegamos al aeropuerto me vino a buscar Beka y su conductor Aleix y me ayudaron a comprar sim card(incluso Beka nos pago las Sim card porque no teníamos dinero cambiado) y cambiar dinero, su oficina está un poco escondida pero era muy acogedora. Una vez empezamos el safari nos presento a nuestro conductor y guía Alex que hablaba perfecto en español y estuvo muy atento con nosotros e incluso hicimos cosas divertidas, el primer día dormimos en Lodges en panorama camp y conocimos a nuestro cocinero Guideon. Alex puso mucho empeño por ver los maximos animales posibles y el ambiente con ambos fue excelente. Tengo que decir que hicimos muchas actividades de grupo que otra gente del safari no hacía por eso Alex es especial. La comida genial guideon cocinaba muy bien. La verdad que Alex entiende nuestra cultura perfectamente y sabe que después del safari nos gusta pasarlo bien en los campamentos. También alex y guideon nos ayudaban a montar y recoger las tiendas de campaña y tenia paciencia infinita cada vez que veíamos un animal, vimos todos los animales aunque el rinoceronte de pasada pero el empeño que alex puso fue excelente. Si.
